Corset Season

I have almost always had an interest in corsets. In 2013, I found my way to Lucy’s Corsetry and Timeless Trends where I purchased, learned how to season, and later came to wear one.

As time went on I stopped wearing them. This dress that I recently purchased made me think, “Gee too big! I want form!” and this is how I gleefully realized that this is a fine opportunity to wear a corset.

I returned to Lucy’s Corsetry where I found what I thought was the perfect corset to achieve the look:

And another corset that I can wear on a whim because why not?

After I made my purchase, I learned that the Athena corset was no longer available but Lucy offered an amazing alternative – a custom made corset from their Champagne Fizz fabric and the result did not disappoint.

It is absolutely beautiful.

Now I’m in the process of getting this corset seasoned, but definitely wanted to share the results.
