Happy Halloween, everyone! It’s been a rough couple of weeks and I apologize for taking one off, but I needed some time to recuperate after having my first tooth pulled.
There’s been something that I’ve wanted to share for some time now and I think that Halloween has got to be the best time to spring it up on everyone. I doubt anyone will really go getting any ideas, but here it is. .
As we all know, I have a rabbit. Like with all animals, including humans, one of the ways to know that she’s healthy is by observing her fecal matter. As an aside (having very little to do with this post, but to perhaps help you understand what and how I decided to present this to you; rabbit feces is a great from of fertilizer. Also there is a special type of fecal matter that they eat. I don’t get a glimpse of it too often, but if and when I do – I know that I need to adjust her diet.
At any rate, this constant cleanup of rabbit poop has me going a little crazy because rabbit poop looks a lot like a certain type of cereal:

I refused to let that ruin my appetite, so I bought a couple of boxes and learned that despite the striking resemblance, I prefer cocoa puffs. Also, I might be giving her a little bit too much protein. Those appear a bit dark, I’ll introduce some more Timothy hay into her diet.
Whelp! That’s it for a Happy Halloween everybody. Go enjoy yourselves a nice bowl of – Cocoa Puffs!
