What a wild Saturday! I started my day out by finally trying out a fish taco recipe from the BKC Storyhill that was designed to pair with the white wine from their monthly wine club.

Then, I went to Summerfest, headed home to participate in Tangible AI’s Intern webcast, and finally returned to Summerfest to see Dave Chappelle. The adventure at Tangible AI was, by far, the best experience of the evening.
Tangible AI is an organization that helps global businesses make the best use of technology to solve complex challenges. Click here to learn more about Tangible AI. In a previous post, I mentioned a small, but fun, project they assigned.
I had a great time collaborating with a group of individuals who share the same passions for machine learning and artificial intelligence. I shared the Life Coach chatbot that we created to help people find a more positive approach when facing negativity. We reflected, shared, and learned about the importance of continued social engagement in the AI and ML community in order to combat the ever-lasting threat of bias in ML/AI. My colleagues shared their amazing projects that they have created over the summer.
Including:
A PULSE positivity news reader that helps people find positive news stories
The exploration and design process for the creation Syndee, a chatbot to help resolve imposter syndrome.
Agile methodologies, processes, and tools that are great for any development environment.
A machine learning model that identifies racist text.
The most effective technique in creating a model that can classify a book’s genres.
How to make AI a little less dumb. . . and more. Check out the video!

Conclusion
It was a great time to be had at the Tangible AI internship this summer. I worked with a lot of great people across the world. An experience I highly recommend. It was a long, but exciting Saturday.
Apparently, Dave Chappelle’s wife was back stage. He doesn’t wear his ring on stage while he hits on the audience. He sweats a lot and chain smokes American Spirits. He’s also got a body guard that can croon. In case you were wondering about that show. I laughed a little, but still had a better time with Tangible. There we have it, my wild Saturday.
