Last year, after a little heart break, I started to think about how it takes two to tango. This inspired me to take up tango lessons at Fred Astaire. Those tango lessons lead to preparing and doing a live performance.
Ever since I saw this number in Mama Mia, I’ve wanted to perform it.
Fred Astaire offers the opportunity to perform a live dance number to some of your favorite songs, so I signed up. We hired a choreographer for Does Your Mother Know. I then got on board practicing twice a week with two young professional dance coaches to get the number down.
Needless to say, it’s what I’ve been up to – hard work and, still, quite fun.
